Internship Supervisor
Dr. Ian Struckmeyer is an orthopedic physical therapist who practices at OnePoint Physical Therapy in Edgewood, Georgia. Dr. Struckmeyer received his bachelors in Exercise Science at Georgia Gwinnett College and then went on to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. In 2020 he graduated and became licensed in the state of Georgia shortly after. He began working as a technician at different PT location in order to get experience with different settings and environments. His first position as a Physical Therapist was at a Benchmark where he worked for a couple of years moving up the ladder and eventually becoming a manager for Benchmark. Dr. Iain has experience in treating a variety of neurological and orthopedic injuries of all ages and has also completed advanced training in dry needling and spinal manipulation and is certified USAW Olympic Weightlifting couch.
One Point Physical Therapy
One Point Physical Therapy's mission is to empower clients through education and use of their expert clinical decision making to provide effective, evidence-based interventions for all ages and diagnoses. The goal of OnePoint is to emphasize education and prevention of future injury as well as promote age-appropriate developmental skills. At OnePoint, the Physical Therapist’s role is to evaluate, design and implement a plan of care in order to reduce pain and disability and to maximize function.
